PrimePay's one-of-a-kind Broker Concierge Program is currently looking for a dynamic sales professional to acquire, nurture, and strengthen benefits broker relationships in their region and drive PrimePay solutions such as our best in class suite of HR, payroll and benefit services offerings directly through this benefit broker channel.

We are looking for a sales & relationship professional who is interested in long-range career growth, is a self-starter and possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit. PrimePay offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development.

A successful Benefit Broker Regional Advisor can develop long-standing relationships with benefit brokers and will develop the PrimePay brand in their territory. The target marketplace referred by these relationships is generally small/medium size businesses with 1-500 employees.

The Benefit Broker Regional Advisor will:

  • Foster/expand existing benefits broker partner relationships and sales opportunities
  • Develop strong initiatives for their territory
  • Provide Thought Leadership through social media, written & verbal communications
  • Make formal sales presentations and be comfortable to teach in a structured setting
  • Develop comprehensive product knowledge to be a credible resource
  • Generate and drive sales opportunities through the PrimePay sales channel
  • Recommend new sales strategies and provide practical application to regulatory guidance
  • Develop strong sales initiatives for the territory and coordinate with internal BC team
  • Communicate regularly about current events, technical guidance, or anything pertinent to brokers, to partners throughout territory
  • Speak to large audiences at events sponsored for brokers, which could include, NAHU events, broker conferences, broker-supported local events, client seminars, webinars, etc.
  • Hold a monthly webinar to the local broker community and assist in the creation of presentations
  • Manage and maintain the top broker agencies, key stakeholders, GA, or wholesale relationships in their territory
  • Negotiate books of business within their territory and raise percentage of closed business through the BC agencies
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire the PrimePay Sales Team with drive and motivation
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all HR and Benefit services
  • Travel to any speaking engagements where a 'live' presentation is necessary or required (approximately 10-15% travel required); All other activity will be generated from their PrimePay office via conference calls or virtual meetings

    Job Requirements:

    • 5 - 10 years of experience relating to benefit broker services and/or financial services, as well as a track record of attaining challenging sales goals and managing accounts within a designated territory
    • BA/BS Degree preferred
    • License in Life and Health would be preferred, but not required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Computer literacy including use of laptops, Windows, Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, Word, & Power Point), and CRM Management (i.e. Salesforce.com)
    • Ability to work both independently and part of a team
    • Strong sales closing skills with the ability to develop and foster strong broker relationships and referrals
    • Inspire others with drive and motivation
