We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, hands-on Senior
Production Manager. The Production Manager is responsible for
overseeing daily manufacturing operations, including planning,
scheduling, personnel management, and execution of production
orders to meet delivery, quality, and cost objectives. This
challenging role requires quick thinking, intelligence, existing
knowledge, and ensures operational excellence by driving standard
work, lean principles, 5S, and compliance with applicable
regulatory standards such as ISO 13485 and OSHA.
This is a hands-on position that requires regular presence on the
production floor and occasional flexibility for off-hour support
during key builds. It is based on-site at our Torrance, CA
location. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing activities to meet
production schedules and quality standards.
- Supervise and develop production teams across multiple assembly
lines, including cable assembly, PCBA, box build, and final system
integration.
- Maintain on-time delivery (OTD), yield, and throughput
performance aligned with company KPIs.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing, 5S, and visual
management systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 13485/9001
standards, and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and
Engineering to resolve production issues and drive continuous
improvement.
- Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) and lead ramp-up
activities for new product transitions from R&D to
production.
- Support process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and
manufacturing readiness for regulated products.
- Maintain accurate production records, training logs, and labor
tracking.
- Support safety initiatives, risk assessments, and incident
reporting.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and performance feedback
to team leads and operators.

management.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or
related field preferred; equivalent experience will be
considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role
within an electronics or medical device manufacturing
environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and production
planning tools.
- Experience with ISO 13485, FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), and ESD
compliance.
- Background in cable and PCB assembly operations,
preferred.
- Experience with regulated Class I or II medical devices,
preferred.SKILLS, ABILITIES, & ATTRIBUTES:
- Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional
production teams.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Sage, QT9, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, organizational,
time and risk management skills, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to manage multiple,
complex projects and tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict
deadlines, and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent customer-ready documentation and
communication skills and ability to develop, use, and socialize
document templates to streamline processes.
- Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in an
energetic, fast pace, high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial
environment.
- Strong team player and effective communicator who can build
strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams at
all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently with very little supervision,
prioritize between multiple tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, and
work extended hours (as needed).
