Job Description:
A company is looking for an Energy Market Analyst (Solution
Modeling).
Key Responsibilities
Support the configuration, testing, and delivery of energy market
models using PLEXOS and related tools
Assist in building and validating datasets for production cost
modeling and market forecasting studies
Perform scenario analysis and interpret model results to support
business decisions for clients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Economics,
Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical
field
1-3 years of experience in energy modeling, grid planning, or
energy consulting (internships included)
Familiarity with power markets, ISO/RTO operations, or utility
planning processes
Basic experience with Python or SQL for data analysis or
automation
Exposure to tools such as PLEXOS, Aurora, or similar modeling
platforms is a plus
