Job Details RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electro-mechanical units Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping SKILLS 2 years of experience working from drawings and operation sheets 2 years performing assembly skills including lead forming, adhesive/coating applications, tooling operations and rework and repair Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or aerospace Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment Knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-J Std trained Interested in hearing more?
