Job Description
As an Account Executive specializing in print services, you will be
responsible for driving new business development through
consultative selling techniques and field-based prospecting
activities. This is a hunter role designed for sales professionals
who thrive on being out in the field, building relationships, and
closing deals. You'll serve as the subject matter expert during
customer interactions, focusing exclusively on print services while
collaborating with Business Technology Advisors who handle the
managed services portfolio.
The ideal candidate will manage the entire sales cycle from lead
generation through proposal presentation, with support from a
production team that assists with deal closure. After deals are
closed, you'll maintain responsibility for account management and
identifying upselling opportunities. With average deal sizes
ranging from $8-10K and a typical sales cycle of 4-6 weeks,
successful candidates can expect to close approximately 3 deals per
month in their first year, scaling to 8+ deals monthly by year
three.
Duties and Responsibilities
---Serve as the subject matter expert for print services during all
customer interactions
---Conduct business development through proactive prospecting and
field-based sales activities
---Manage and develop leads generated from marketing campaigns into
closed sales opportunities
---Utilize consultative selling techniques to position and present
print services to prospects
---Develop and produce comprehensive proposals and quotes for
client presentation
---Meet minimum requirements for cold calls, appointments, and
proposal activities
---Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas consistently
---Participate in all company sales blitzes and team
initiatives
---Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to identify upselling
opportunities within existing accounts
---Maintain ongoing account management responsibilities
post-sale
---Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth deal
closure process
Required Experience/Skills
---Proven track record in B2B sales with demonstrated job tenure
and stability
---Hunter mindset with strong desire to be active in field-based
selling
---Experience in B2B SaaS sales environments preferred
---Telecom sales background also considered
---Strong communication skills, both oral and written
---Ability to prioritize workload effectively and meet critical
deadlines
---Team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work
performed
---Consultative selling experience with ability to assess customer
needs
---Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
---Valid state driver's license required for field sales
activities

Education
