"I can succeed as the Head of Disaster Recovery and Resilience."As a Technology Leader overseeing Disaster Recovery and Resilience, you will be responsible for leading a small team of technology professionals who support disaster recovery requirements, plans and testing for Capital Group. With your leadership, we aim to establish industry leading disaster recovery capabilities across our ever-evolving hybrid environment including on-premise, cloud and hosted products and services.You will build strong relationships across the Technology and Risk teams, establishing trusted relationships up to Executive levels in the space of Disaster Recovery. Leveraging these strong relationships, you will partner closely to create industry leading best practice patterns, automation, monitoring and testing for all disaster recovery-critical workloads and patterns. Through strong leadership, we will establish and maintain a world-class disaster recovery program best supporting our business and clients for years to come."I am the person Capital Group is looking for."

• 10+ years of experience leading Disaster Recovery and Resilience for complex and integrated systems.
• Accountable for core disaster recovery operationally: including infrastructure execution (on-premise and cloud) and via automation across all critical application areas.
• Lead a program that will define, build, and run our disaster recovery capabilities.
• Inspire and empower matrixed teams through openness and inclusion to think broadly about disaster recovery gaps, informed consultation, and effective challenge.
• Accountable for regular testing (game days) of the disaster recovery practices and remediation of any issues.
• Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure & Security to establish repeatable patterns that mitigate disaster recovery risk.
• Establish and regularly communicate metrics-based reporting on all disaster recovery activities with clear success criteria, KPIs/KRIs and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support Global Risk and their requirement to report to regulators on our disaster recovery efforts.
• Establish disaster recovery teams, operating model, and book of record for all disaster recovery related data.
• Partner with Global Risk & Security as disaster recovery scope evolves based on regulatory demand (i.e., DORA, MAS, etc.) and ensure all appropriate documents and standards remain up to date.
• Manage work across organizational lines to address competing priorities and achieve results.
• Establish processes to monitor and maintain disaster recovery lifecycle activities.
