Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Consultant to
evaluate insurance applicants and make underwriting decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive underwriting decisions by reviewing data,
determining risk, and finalizing cases
Process medical history and utilize system workbenches for case
management
Adhere to productivity, quality, and performance standards while
demonstrating organization and sound judgment
Required Qualifications and Education
7-10+ years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience
Ability to handle advanced decision-making authority for cases of
$2.5 million or higher
Bachelor's Degree preferred
BGA and Trial Experience preferred
Completion of LOMA 280/281 and 290/291; actively pursuing AALU,
FLMI, and FALU designations
