Must demonstrate proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite
successful electro-mechanical assembly experience
JOB DESCRIPTION
Electro-Mechanical Inspector:
The team member will perform inspections of High Voltage battery
components, modules, integrated battery packs, associated
manufacturing processes, and documentation to verify compliance
with Workmanship Standards, engineering requirements, work
instructions, inspection plans, etc.
Inspector will work with a cross-functional team collaboratively to
analyze material and products with magnified visual tools and
mechanical measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, scales, and
other measuring devices) to ensure product conformance to
requirements. Inspector will review technical data packages (e.g.
assembly instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, bills of
material, specifications, etc.). This is done to:
Verify and resolve product configuration issues
Identify defects and opportunities for improvement
Review rework actions
Conduct Product Acceptance verification for work-in-process and
final approval
Inspector will log reports and findings (defects) necessary to
ensure the accuracy of all Quality records for traceability.
Inspector will follow processes to maintain control of
non-conforming material and support processes aimed at defect
reduction, causal analysis, and continuous improvement.
Skills:
Have successful electro-mechanical assembly experience
Demonstrate ability to:

drawings
Operate and interpret visual magnification devices (microscopes,
etc.)
Effectively operate and interpret basic electronic measuring
devices
Effectively operate and interpret basic mechanical measuring
devices
Fine motor skills, dexterity and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively
Candidates must be able to perform in a self-directed in a
fast-paced environment
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite
Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on experience with precision machined parts
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic math skills required
Acceptable visual acuity and eye-hand coordination
Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection
tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges,
etc.)
Experience operating or programming a CMM is a plus
