Job Description NITORI-USA is Actively Searching for a Key Holder to Join our Team Position Description: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provide great customer service to each customer by creating a professional and friendly environment; Greet and acknowledge customers; Answer customer inquiries concerning location, price and use of merchandise. Supervise employees to complete tasks and achieve store goals in the absence of store management. Open and close the store following proper procedures as documented in the Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure registers are properly opened and closed, store entrance is opened and locked and security alarms are activated and deactivated correctly. Ensure that sales floor recovery, merchandise replenishment process, corporate communication and store cleanliness standards are properly executed and upheld when opening or closing the store. Maintain an awareness of all product information, promotions, events and advertisements; Communicate any updates to all other employees of the store. Complete sales transactions at the cash register; Maintain proper cash accountability; Wrap or bag merchandise; Process coupons, discounts and other promotional discounts according to company policy. Conduct research into cash discrepancies and confirm reconciliations. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing and loss prevention. Operate store equipments, including but not limited to cash register, telephone, intercom system, tablets, computers, fax machine etc. Report all irregular issues and problems to the General Manager or any other Manager on Duty. Non-Essential Functions: Report to other Aki-Home stores to assist in store remodels and new store openings. Assist in loading/unloading products and fixtures off of delivery vehicles; process and replenish merchandise from stockroom to sales floor; Return excess merchandise on sales floor to stockroom and store in a safe and organized manner; Assemble/disassemble furniture; Wrap and re-package merchandise; Relocate merchandise. Assist in floor moves, merchandising and planogram alterations, display maintenance and store housekeeping, including trash removal, cleaning and shopping cart retrieval. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, this position will operate as the Manager on Duty, in the absence of store management, in which they will have temporary supervisory responsibilities over the Non-Exempt employees working in the store at that time.
