The specialties include: Orthopedics, -Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Spine, Urology, Gynecology, and General Surgery. The Ambulatory Operating Room Charge Nurse will be responsible for coordinating patient care and nursing service activities consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The Surgery Center Charge Nurse RN will coordinate the activities of the -healthcare -team during surgical intervention while delegating duties as needed. - The Ambulatory Surgery Center Charge Nurse RN will supervise the operating room clinical staff. The Ambulatory -Operating Room Charge Nurse -RN will participate in staff development including development and maintenance of competencies, participation in the orientation process and involvement in the educational process The -Charge Nurse for Ambulatory Operating Room will work with Unit Based Staffing Committee to prepare staffing budgets and run the Operating Room schedule efficiently based upon needs of patient, surgeon and staff. The Charge Nurse for Outpatient -Operating Room will evaluate effectiveness of existing programs and services and implement new services as appropriate.
