Job Description:
Strategic Legal Practices has a great opportunity for a
multi-talented Executive Assistant to join the team and partner
with one of our C-Suite Executives in overseeing the firms internal
operations. Specifically, the role serves as an advisor, who drives
communication, collaboration, and alignment across the organization
as well as a trusted representative who convenes groups, provides
research and benchmarking support, creates resources, produces
communications, and provides administrative support. Additionally,
the Executive Assistant oversees specific projects critical to SLPs
overall organizational health and success. Our ideal candidate
loves being involved in all aspects of administration and would
enjoy the wide range of responsibilities and challenges of working
in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to, the following: Support ongoing communication on behalf
of the Executive including writing of concise and impactful emails,
talking points, briefings, pre-read and presentation materials;
Provide support with a high level of professionalism and in a
manner that reflects positively on the organization; Identify and
elevate issues that need to be addressed, participating in
strategic and solution-oriented conversations in response to
identified needs; Operate at a tactical, strategic and operational
level, handling projects that do not neatly fit within the
organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership
areas of responsibility; Manage and maintain sensitive matters with
a high level of confidentiality and discretion; Create structure
and focus for broad, ambiguous ideas that the Executive is
exploring and bring forth recommendations for action in a timely
mannerAnswer calls and routing to the correct person/department;
Organize workflow by facilitating note taking as needed, and
summarizing with clearly defined next steps, providing meeting
preparation to ensure the Executive is as productive as possible;
Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls; Manage a few key
initiatives/projects relating to efficiencies, controls, software
adoption and overall Firm operational controls Qualifications:
Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant
administrative support experience; Anticipates needs and is
proactive with solutions; The drive to take initiative, work
independently, and be accountable while also working as a team
player who is collaborative, positive; and flexible; Ability to
work in a fast-paced environment, including scheduling meetings,
making travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and
assisting with special projects; Excellent computer skills with
proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excellent research, writing,
communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to make independent
judgments and decisions based on standard office policies and
procedure; Effectively interact and communicate with executives,
attorneys, staff, and clients; Handle confidential information with
discretion and practice the highest standard of ethical conduct at
all times; Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced
ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing
priorities and work demands; Effectively prioritize assignments and
meet firm deadlines, multi-task, pay close attention to detail,
maintain accuracy, follow up on own assignments on own initiative,
and use time efficiently with minimal supervision; Tenacity to push
deliverables over the line; The ability to face opposing ideas with
a strong footing and conviction using data/research to support
position; Passion for approaching new challenges with excitement
and optimism for change, innovation and advancement; Preferred
Education and Experience: Associate degree or equivalent
combination of education (required); Bachelors degree (preferred);
