Technical Documentation Specialist needed in Lake Forest, California 92630 for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh's client.The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:* Creation of training materials (user manuals, job aids, tutorials, etc.)* Technical documentation experience* Technical writing skills* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite* SAP is a plusWhat You'll Be Doing:* Work collaboratively with the Technical Documentation Specialist Lead and internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the products and the documentation requirements, and to ensure technical documentation and training materials are accurate and adopted by the end user community.* Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and the needs of the Technical Services end users.* Create tutorials, job aids, videos and other training artifacts as required to help end users comprehend and leverage our systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.* Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on accuracy, reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.* Ensure documentation and training materials keep pace with business process, system releases and upgrades to functionality.* Field and Back Office user manuals are completed and comprehensive of relevant materials from existing job aids, work instructions and playbooks.* Existing and emerging ServiceMax documentation are successfully converted from Classic to Lightning experience.What You Need to Bring to the Table:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar or equivalent experience.* Proven work experience in technical writing of quality-focused software documentation to a business end user audience, with consistent attention to detail and end user adoption.* Proven work experience in the quick grasp of complex technical concepts and representing them in easily understandable text and pictures.* Excellent written and verbal communication in English.* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.* Prior experience with ServiceMax/Salesforce is strongly preferred.* Prior experience with SAP is a plus.What's In It For You?We welcome you to be a part of the largest and legendary global staffing companies to meet your career aspirations.
