develop, and recommend the overall direction of the Canon Medical
Systems' solution. Includes the identification of sales and
marketing content required from BUs or other functional departments
that demonstrate or support a value based care offering value
Direct and control the activities of the Solutions Marketing
strategy and act as the primary interface for these solutions to
all levels of the sales organization.
Own all aspects of customer and market validation of the
\"solution,\" including direct customer, federal, state and local
government healthcare policy maker interactions.
Direct and plan the work with Business Development (BD) to
identify 3rd party alliances for solutions development.
Collaborate with BD and BU teams to identify adjacencies and new
opportunity areas, including solution validation plans.
Develop deep relationships with SBG team members and other sales
branches. Serve as an advisor on solution positioning and
strategies based on market conditions/competitive analysis
information. Support ongoing sales/service solutions training.
Support new hire training in collaboration with the Sales
support and education teams.
Oversee the development of solutions marketing content. Ensure
content is continuously updated and kept relevant.
Owner of the broader sales enablement platform - currently known
as the SAM portal. Short and long term lifecycle management of the
tool in partnership with the digital marketing team.
Own the application of Market Segmentation information as well
as other data sources for the use in creating compelling narratives
and persona based messaging.
Oversee the development and continuous improvement of solutions
sales tools and all associated marketing content.
Direct the team to work with Medical Affairs and education for
deployment of solutions into the first sites for the creation of
collaterals from first of kind deployments, luminary reference and
show sites in collaboration with show-site team.
Develop a comprehensive multi-level relationship with key BU
specified demonstration sites. This includes physicians,
technologists, radiology staff, and hospital administration;
requires visiting the designated sites 2-3 times per year.
Performance management, including but not limited to coaching,
development, counseling, and corrective action.
Develop department budget and ensure adherence to such.
