Job Description:
A company is looking for a Privacy Counsel to support its global
privacy program and compliance with U.S. privacy laws.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on U.S. privacy laws and their application in
product development and data processing
Lead privacy compliance projects and support the implementation of
privacy programs across business units
Conduct training on privacy compliance and collaborate with various
teams to integrate privacy solutions
Required Qualifications
J.D. degree and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
2-4 years of experience as an attorney focused on privacy and data
protection
Strong knowledge of U.S. privacy laws, particularly CCPA/CPRA
Experience in implementing privacy compliance programs or leading
related projects
Practical, business-oriented approach to privacy compliance and
risk management
