• BS or BA degree
• Five years technical experience managing all aspects of backend application systems including peripheral components, relevant software applications, operating systems, middleware, and databases.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Team player and independent worker.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines.
• Thorough work ethics with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with leadership and both highly technical and non-technical individuals.
• Available to participate in an on-call rotation with other team members and perform occasional off-hour tasks. Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Barcoding, CareMobile, XR Printing, Remote Report Distribution (RRD), SurgiNet, AlertLink, VitalsLink, and Olympus Guardian technical experience.
• Medication Clinical Decision Support (mCDS) technical experience.
• WebSphere Application Server experience.
• Citrix, AIX, Windows Server, and Linux Operating Systems experience.
• Oracle, MS SQL, mySQL Databases. Summary The Technical Solutions Architect is responsible for the comprehensive health of the application of our integrated hospital EHR system. This EHR system is complex and delivers point of care solutions utilizing several hardware platforms, operating systems, databases, and other technologies. It is the responsibility of the architect to ensure 24/7 availability for these solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Installing domain break/fix and enhancement packages.
• Performing upgrades to existing solutions.
• Providing technical support for new implementations.
• Creating WebSphere application servers and deploying dependent applications.
• Maintaining middleware applications including WebSphere and IBM MQ.
• Installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of peripheral applications.
• Providing support for new fiscal year initiatives.
• Fielding calls and troubleshooting system and application issues.
• Performing regular health checks and continuous system monitoring.
• Ensuring version compatibility and compliance for the comprehensive EHR solution.
• Refreshing and creating non-production environments. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated team player who pays attention to detail and is willing to take on additional responsibilities when needed. Does this describe you?

• Cerner domain management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree. The Cerner Technical Solutions Architect has a minimum of five years supporting and is responsible for the comprehensive health of the Cerner application. Possesses outstanding troubleshooting skills and can communicate technical matters in layman's terms.
