health record. This is a benefited, full time position generally
working Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday. Hours will vary
as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. There are
currently two openings: 1. 11am-8pm 2. 8:30am-5:30pm Why join

work together to achieve our goals! What you'll do: - This is a 1:1
position with a full time provider - Administering vaccines to
infants through adolescents - Rooming patients, checking vitals,
assisting with procedures - Clinic prep assisting with Provider
specific protocols - Maintains a clean, organized, and safe
environment - Organizes and performs patient care services that
support the physician’s practice - Relaying instructions from the
physician to the patient or authorized person - Collecting patient
data in person and by phone - Documenting patient concerns,
messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the
physician's review - Administering medications specifically
directed by the physician - Scheduling of appointments and
procedures - Complete and accurate message taking - Routing
messages to the appropriate area for direction - Order and referral
entry, acquisition of pre-certifications - Setting up of cases in
EPIC plus basic registration and updating of demographics -
Insurance verifications Required Qualifications: - Completion of a
formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant
Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a
military corpsman - BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider
by the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Qualifications: -
1 year of experience working as Medical Assistant - Pediatrics
