Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Medical Coder III.
Key Responsibilities
Perform medical coding and auditing for various specialties
Ensure compliance with coding standards and reimbursement
systems
Achieve a minimum passing score on the Medical Billing test
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of five years of medical coding/auditing experience in
multiple specialties or three years in a Military Treatment
Facility
Advanced knowledge of ICD-CM, PCS, HCPCS, and CPT coding
systems
Understanding of reimbursement systems such as PPS, DRGs, APCs, and
RBRVS
Relevant medical coding certifications (e.g., RHIT, RHIA)
preferred
Documentation of one year of performance in the specialty
required
