We are a busy medical practice in Laguna Hills that specializes in pain management and surgery, seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. We see an average of 40 patients a day, and we need someone who can handle a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.

*Here's what we're offering for our Medical Receptionist opening:*

* *Location:* Laguna Hills, CA
* *Pay: *$18-$20/hr. (or higher depending on experience)
* *Schedule:* Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

*Your responsibilities as a Medical Receptionist will include:*

* Greeting and checking in patients
* Verifying patient information and insurance coverage
* Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
* Chart preparation for patient visits
* Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person
* Entering patient data into the electronic medical record system
* Collecting copays and other payments
* Filing and maintaining patient records

*The ideal Medical Receptionist candidate will have:*

* 2+ years of experience working in a medical office or similar environment
* Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
