Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Climate Services to lead
the development of a new climate services program.
Key Responsibilities
Direct the Climate Services Program, including strategy, goals, and
budget management
Engage with external stakeholders to identify opportunities for
product development that enhances resilience
Collaborate with internal teams to build, test, and promote climate
services
Required Qualifications
20+ years of experience in federal agencies with a significant
climate services portfolio
Scientific background related to climate change and understanding
of its societal applications
Proven track record of organizing multidisciplinary teams to meet
stakeholder needs
Experience in stakeholder engagement with high-trust relationships
across sectors
Participation in synthesis activities like the National Climate
Assessment or IPCC reports is preferred
