Job Description:
A company is looking for a Buyer to plan, coordinate, and
administer procurement activities within the Purchasing
Department.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and supervise procurement activities to ensure efficient
operations
Consult with departments to gather information on specifications
and sources of supply
Maintain communication with end-user departments to provide
customer service and technical assistance
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Cert TX Procurement Manager (CTPM) or Cert Texas Contract Developer
(CTCD) within 1.5 years
Prior purchasing experience
Familiarity with Jaggaer eProcurement and PeopleSoft
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred
