We also believe that our employees can have it all rewarding challenges, growth opportunities, and real collaboration in an environment that balances meaningful work with friends, family, and time for the activities you love.Job DescriptionThis senior leader will provide innovative thought leadership and strategic direction to support and enhance our culture, build our company wide performance management and talent development platforms, create employee engagement opportunities and, maintain focus on service to our internal team members. They will drive leadership development and talent management strategies, as well as the systems and processes required to implement these strategies. This position will support the facilitation of hands-on training designed to facilitate on-boarding, talent assessment, competency and skill identification and development, performance management process, talent planning for all team members, and leadership coaching.The focus of Vice President, Leadership and Organizational Development is to develop the organization from a performance and culture perspective by implementing and overseeing programs that strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our people leaders to be exceedingly successful in their current roles, preparing them for their next roles and preparing us to meet the challenges that our significant growth brings. This position will work closely with Tricon's senior management team to identify, develop and implement strategic organizational initiatives designed to enhance leader development, engagement, effectiveness and performance across the organization. Drive the creation of an organization wide talent and leadership development model and process to be used throughout the company Provide thought leadership and strategic direction to the creation of Leadership Assessment Profiles, Workforce Planning Methods, and Change Management models Partner with executive leadership to analyze organizational needs, identify high performers, recommend and implement training programs to prepare them for the next level and evaluate their effectiveness Provide coaching to executives on organizational effectiveness and leader development topics Oversee and provide guidance to leaders, as necessary, in the design, development and evaluation of formal courses and training materials Facilitate leadership level training sessions for selected groups Create 30,60,90 day on-boarding curriculums with supporting roles and documentation for all employees Drive organization wide quarterly goals process moving toward real time feedbackQualifications: A highly collaborative Leadership and Organization Development professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience in leading L&D organizations Experience with Succession/Talent Management, Change Management, Organization/Leadership Development, Performance Management Experience in diagnosing organizational challenges, then planning and carrying out appropriate interventions Must be a persuasive communicator with strong leadership presence, and interpersonal and team-building skills A track record of success in managing programs/processes to develop leaders Proven ability to form strategic partnerships with senior business executives in the building of a high-performance leadership culture The ability to lead in a highly dynamic environment A demonstrated commitment to superior customer service and operational excellence Willingness to "roll up the sleeves" to get the job done Exhibits innovation and creativity in addressing future challenges An understanding of the business benefits of various organizational structures and processes and the ability to build and articulate linkages to improved operating performance Strong teamwork orientation and mentor who models high performance skills and outcomes Operate with integrity and have a track record of developing trust-based relationships The proven ability to utilize metrics necessary to assess the impact and effectiveness of leadership and organization development change initiativesMinimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Organization Development, or Human Resource Management required Master's degree in Organization Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management or related field is preferred Certified in Organization development tools, such as; personality indicators, 360 feedback tools, career assessments and coaching a plusAt Tricon Residential, we know that the best ideas happen when people bring their uniqueness to work with them.
