Virgin GalacticVirgin Galactic is looking for an experienced
contracts manager to join our growing Legal and Contracts team in
support of our Supply Chain organization and other transactional
needs.This candidate can be located in Tustin CA or Las Cruces NM.
Job Functions+ Evaluate, negotiate, and execute on a wide variety
of commercial agreements, including especially technology and
procurement/supply chain agreements.+ Use clause libraries,
playbook, and other guidelines to perform first-level review of
routine contract edits.+ Maintain documentation in relation to
existing and pending contracts.+ Support the Supply Chain
organization and business units in their preparation of request for
proposal/information/quotation documents and statements of work.+
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all
contract-related matters.+ Solve contract-related problems that may
arise between suppliers and internal stakeholders.+ Collaborate
cross-functionally across Legal/Contracts, Supply Chain, Finance
and Accounting, IT, and other stakeholders, to identify risks and
help implement effective business solutions.+ Maintain various
legal templates and tools for the Legal/Contracts Department
relating to procurement and other transactional activities.Key
Qualifications+ 10-15 years of experience preparing, negotiating,
and recording business contracts, including agreements related to
manufacturing and information technology. Aerospace industry
experience is preferred but not required.+ Deep experience actively
negotiating contracts with suppliers, usually in a lead role.+
In-depth understanding of legal terminology and ability to explain
complex contractual concepts in simple terms.+ Strong written and
verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships
with teammates at all levels of the company.+ High degree of
self-sufficiency and ability to take ownership of transactions and
drive them to completion in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.+
Sufficient financial acumen to evaluate and communicate financial
risks in contracts and assist with billing disputes.Education &
Experience+ Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree
preferred.+ National Contract Management Association or similar
certification strongly preferred.+ Familiarity with U.S. government
contracting rules would be ideal but not essentialITAR

regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent
resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22
CFR -120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from
