questions that haven't been explored. Test Engineer In this role,
the Test Engineer reporting to the manager of NPI will utilize
electrical and electronic engineering skills to review product test
specifications, propose comprehensive manufacturing test plans and
strategies, and drive the development of test equipment and
processes that ensure all Korrus products meet performance and
quality requirements. While working closely with the design
engineers and other members of the project team, you will be
responsible for all facets of manufacturing test strategy,
including proposal preparation, design reviews, test plans,
top/sub-assembly test procedures, programming and configuration
procedures, integration, failure analysis, field service support,
test facilities and equipment, development of production test
systems internally or by 3rd parties and Contract Manufacturers,
and leadership for all Test Engineering activities. Primary Role
and Responsibility: Understand product function and performance
requirement. Develop test plan based on product specifications and
test specifications. Interface with suppliers, engineering
personnel, and management as necessary to be effective in
establishing test standards and processes. Develop test equipment
and procedures Write detailed test procedures as needed to support
internal and external groups in performing testing. Perform
estimates of labor and material required to develop test budgets.
Develop SOWs, Systems diagrams, drawings, parts lists, Engineering
Orders, wiring lists, diagrams, schematics, procedures, and user
manuals/instructions. Develop manufacturing test code using LabVIEW
or other software packages. Analysis test result, trouble shoot
rejects, drive improvement of yield of the manufacturing tests.
Ensure Safety requirements are met. Ensure Quality requirements are
met. Ensure Good Engineering Practices are followed Perform other
duties as assigned by Management. Required Skills/Qualifications:
BSEE Minimum 2 years related experience as a Test Engineer. Minimum
2 years related experience developing test plans, leading the
development of test processes, and implementing production test
systems utilizing LabVIEW. LabVIEW certificate highly preferred.
Must have knowledge and good understanding of power supply/driver
testing, digital circuit testing. Experience of testing lighting
products highly preferred. Be able to translate product function
and quality plan into manufacturing test requirement, then write
test plan to achieve the requirement. Must have good hands-on
experience in selection, setting up and troubleshooting test
instrumentation. Must possess mechanical aptitude to evaluate
mechanical design and fit of modules for good engineering
practices. Experience and knowledge of test fixture development
including, design, component selection, assembly, and validation.
Be able to understand mechanical and electronic engineering drawing
and document. Good Engineering practice of documenting tester
design and source code. Excellent ability to troubleshoot to
component level and identify Root Cause of Failure. Possess good
problem-solving skills to address production test and engineering
issues. Good communication skills to convey test plan to project
team, suppliers, and CM. Team player Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
