Job DescriptionMarketing AssociateZymo Research is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our Core Marketing Team. The Marketing Associate will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager and assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns for all of Zymo Research's business units.The successful Marketing Associate will collaborate closely with cross-functional product, service, and core marketing teams to ensure materials are created and turned in on time to advertisers. They will monitor metrics and report campaign results. The successful applicant must be comfortable and effective communicating deadlines and materials needed to different business units.The ideal candidate has experience in marketing, bioscience, biotech and/or life sciences space with exceptional time management and organization skills. The position is full-time and is based in the Zymo Research operations office in Tustin, CA (not remote).Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of marketing campaigns and messaging.
• Proofreading of marketing copy in print, digital, social media and email.
• Compose copy with Marketing Coordinators and business units, as required, for print, digital, and email assets.
• Coordinate press releases with stakeholders and a third-party communications group.
• Coordinate with the Web Team to publish blogs and other content as needed.
• Coordinate webinars and their associated campaigns.
• Assist with social media content creation.
• Serve as the primary liaison with third-party advertising vendors, ensuring vendors have information and content that is accurate and delivered on time.
• Assist on special projects and campaign initiatives with assigned duties.
• Gather and monitor metrics for email, marketing automation, 3rd party product listings, and website performance.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related business field
  • 0-2 years of marketing experience
  • Biotech industry experience is preferred
  • Strong interest in a marketing career
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and organization and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and self-starter
  • Able to work in a collaborative, team environment
  • Experience with Google Sheets preferred
