Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to drive and support the company---s growth through the creation and execution of channel marketing activities within the North America (NA) & Latin America (LATAM) regions. This individual will promote our brands, drive product awareness, and capture new customers through various channel & partner advertising channels & activities. They will initiate and manage both digital and conventional advertising campaigns using data driven metrics to continually improve overall lead generation. The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for presenting new ideas and reporting on existing programs. He or she will work closely with the regional sales teams organizing events, webinars, sales collateral, product marketing materials, and more, ensuring world-class branding and value propositions are communicated thoroughly in all activities. Key Impact Areas: Creation of channel assets Work with our design team to develop channel assets to drive our presence online, and via events, selecting the right formats and delivery method to ensure maximum uptake / visibility within the region. Responsible for content creation and asset localization, tailoring messaging to meet local and cultural expectations. Development of account level marketing plans / calendars In partnership with sales managers, deliver detailed key account marketing plans to include seasonal promotional planning where relevant and which return profit and fit within agreed marketing spend levels. Responsible for developing and executing MDF activities. Launch Planning Execute go to market (GTM) plan for the channel with marketing, sales, and product management teams. Work to develop best-in-class launch activity for your accounts, helping us reach optimal run rates, adoption, or leads as soon as possible. Who we---re looking for: You are an experienced channel marketing manager with a minimum of 5 years in marketing & 3 in a channel/reseller/VAR/distributor environment. Practical in approach and a great team player, you are excited at building a great young brand through stand out channel activity. You have a proven track record of executing channel campaigns across different geographic territories. A good understanding of the fiber networking industry with knowledge of the key operators and retailers is preferred. If currently working for a large organization, it is essential that you can demonstrate how you will be able to adapt to a small company where processes will develop in line with our growth. You---re hands-on, able to work in a very fast technology environment and hungry to help a young company develop into a great brand. Job will require occasional travel for trade shows and customer meetings. ESSENTIAL TRAITS: Analytical, commercial thinker with ROI focus Data-driven decision maker with attention to detail Technically savvy with ability to quickly learn CRM tools such as Salesforce, and other reporting tools Experience in lead generation with a global mindset Team player with a strong drive for results Creative & resourceful problem solver with entrepreneurial attitude Multi-tasker with strong drive for results Strategic/conceptual process-oriented thinker Commitment to deadlines Keeps aware of B2B & B2C marketing best practices & trends ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Creation, management, & oversight of new marketing campaign Experience developing creative content & media for new programs Hands-on digital advertising or creative experience Comfortable taking charge of both high-level projects & detail-oriented deliverables Experience working with channel partners in both B2C & B2B environments Experience in creating campaigns & managing marketing calendars Familiarity with managing channel marketing budgets & MDF spends Launching new products into channel/distribution Strong writing, editing, & proof-reading capabilities Strong personal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate to different audiences and levels of authority to deliver compelling & action-generating stories Requirements: 5 years--- experience in marketing or advertising 3 in a B2B or channel/reseller/VAR/distributor environment BA/BS Degree (Marketing or Business-related area of study)
